最近一留意到比自己年紀沒有大多少，但已成就非凡的人，就心虛起來。

捧在手上讀的，是Zadie Smith的小說《NW》。天啊，她才37歲，就寫了四部長篇小說 --我心裡經常是如此結構的句子。

'The novel is experimental and follows four different characters living in London, shifting between first and third person, stream-of-consciousness, screenplay-style dialogue and other narrative techniques in an attempt to reflect the polyphonic nature of contemporary urban life.'

不知道其他藝術形式、研究方法、非小說書寫，可以如何處理這種'polyphonic nature of contemporary urban life'？

今年2月開始用的記事簿，終於寫滿了，一頁不剩。

讓我帶本新的去看《如果在末日》。

呼。沒想到自己能忙至這樣子，或願意忙至這樣子。那天在圖書館，又是匆匆的進，匆匆的走，在離館前竟讓我見到這DVD。踏出了館，心想，不行，就回頭，把它拿在手裡，借出。未必會有時間讓影碟被唯讀，但一下子，感覺回到了「自己的園地」。兼念幾個月前那麼易入睡的幸福時候。

2017

距離2017年，還有5年。最近的思緒，總是在想一些「五年計劃」，去丈量五年之後，跟這個城市的關係，跟這個世界的關係，我將站立在什麼位置，我將會是個怎樣的人。

願2017年夏天，能往Venice、Kassel、Munster學習，再重訪一些城市，回望自身。而那時我將三十二歲。村上春樹好像有篇小說，叫32歲的day tripper。

當然大前題是末日不來的話。

好個秋

前年在地鐵軌下的公園，聽著你拉小提琴，我們分享那梨子，依依不捨。去年在St. James Park亂行亂逛，在古老的大門前並排坐下，望到微小的月亮，好不容易才找到路離開。何似在人間。第三個中秋，我們返古，嚐到了往日人們中秋時節心頭最大的滋味。長途的感情真像de-caf的咖啡，總是欠了什麼，但又多了點什麼。見到網上有人問，千里共嬋娟，該怎譯作英文。我只想到，我們不只thousands of miles apart呢。讓我們，萬里共嬋娟。

School of _________

Cy Twombly也畫過一幅School of Athens (前一幅沒有女性當然是大罪過)。

思考自由/解放教育，從學苑的構造開始。上學期的是cultural studies of space，下學期是reading the city及health, disease and politics。只要我不倒下不發狂不失敗，保持熱情與信心，這樣的組合，夫復何求。這三科加起來，完全反映了自己從2007年以來的全部軌跡，把它們做好，就是對自己這六到七年的交代。當然，科目的內容從來不是重點，背後一以貫之的就是power/knowledge、enchantment、emancipation, 思索，與走自己的路。
